Green Mantis

The Green Mantis is a custom Battery Management System designed in 2019 for low-temperature, harsh environments. It features the LTC6811 BMS IC which is controlled by a MSP430FR2355. It supports control and telemetry over CAN & CAN-FD in addition to RS-485. It can talk directly to a number of Raccoons for charging and power distribution. On the board itself is also a 12V/20A auxiliary power supply to support peripheral hardware (e.g. LIDAR, cameras and embedded PCs).
